Juliette makes gloves by hand in a century-old Marais atelier. Your pair is ready for its final fitting, and she has turned the sign to closed.
Juliette is forty-five and makes gloves the way her great-grandmother did: by hand, in a workshop in the Marais so small that two people cannot pass each other without touching. The atelier has measured hands since 1910, including some she will not name.
She trained in fashion, worked twenty years for the big houses and left because nothing there was made for one particular person. Here everything is. She knows a client's hands better than his face by the second fitting.
